Saudi Arabia suspends entry of non-citizens, diplomats, health practitioners and their families from 20 countries

The Ministry of Interior announced that a temporary suspension for entry to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been enforced on non-citizens, diplomats, health practitioners and their families coming from Argentina, Brazil, Egypt, France, Germany, India and Indonesia.
The measure applies also to Ireland, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, Pakistan, Portugal, South Africa, Sweden, Swiss Confederation, Turkey, UAE, UK and the USA.
The temporary suspension also includes whoever comes from other countries if he/she passed through any of the aforementioned countries during the 14 days preceding the request to enter the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
An Interior Ministry’s official source said that the citizens, diplomats, health practitioners and their families coming from the aforementioned countries or those who transited any of those countries during the 14 days preceding their return to the Kingdom will enter the Kingdom in accordance with the precautionary measures imposed by the Ministry of Health.
The ministry pointed out that the temporary suspension will go into force from today (February 3).
