The United Kingdom has moved seven countries, including Bahrain and Egypt, on its travel red list. The UAE was put on the list at the beginning of the year, while Oman and Qatar in March.
Egypt, Sri Lanka, Costa Rica, Sudan, Trinidad and Tobago and Afghanistan are the others added yesterday.
The announcement means travellers from Bahrain are required to stay in a government-mandated hotel for ten days.
