Joint exercise Arabian Gulf Security 3 concludes

Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa attended, along with GCC counterparts, the final ceremony of the Joint Exercise “Arabian Gulf Security 3” held in Saudi Arabia.
Gen, Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa was received by Saudi Interior Minister His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif Al Saud, the honorary Chairman of the Arab Interior Ministers Council.
The second drill was in February 2020 in the United Arab Emirates, and the first exercise was in Bahrain in November 2016. Gen, Shaikh Rashid asserted that such exercises meet the wise vision of Gulf leaders.
“They are part of the implementation of the decisions of GCC Interior Ministers out of the common destiny and dedication to promote Gulf security.
“The exercises improve preparedness and unify concepts in fighting threats, protecting capabilities, and promoting regional stability.”
The minister added that training, modern technological systems, and expansion of artificial intelligence are core elements for security work and exchange of successful expertise and experiences.
Furthermore, he highlighted the significance of reinforcing cooperation and coordination to build capabilities and face security challenges.
The exercise dealt with emergency cases and enhanced preparedness by promoting cooperation and expertise.
