Plans are underway for holding an Arab-German conference and exhibition for pharmaceutical industries and medical supplies in 2023 in the Kingdom of Bahrain and providing the necessary support for the health forum.
This was among the issues discussed in the 57th regular session of the Arab Health Ministers Council, which was held in Geneva yesterday in the presence of the member states. Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al Saleh and her accompanying delegation took part in the meeting. Also on its agenda was the draft consolidated speech of the Arab Health Ministers Council before the 57th session of the General Assembly of the World Health Organization in Geneva in May 2022.
The meeting also spotlighted the health conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem and the occupied Syrian Golan, the Arab Fund for Health Development, and the Arab Authority for Blood Transfusion Services.
Discussions also focused on the draft Arab guiding strategy for the nursing and midwifery professions 2022-2023, as well as a project to celebrate the Arab Nursing and Midwifery Day. In addition to that, participants also shed light on the unification of Arab efforts to combat drugs, along with the results of the meetings of the Higher Arab Food and Drug Authority.
