Saudi Arabia lifts travel ban to Indonesia

Saudi Arabia has lifted the travel ban issued last year on its citizens to Indonesia.
The Ministry of Interior said in a statement that based on the follow-up to COVID-19 pandemic situation and the reports of the competent health authorities, the suspension of citizens' direct or indirect travel to Indonesia was lifted, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reports.
On July 12, 2021, Saudi citizens were banned from traveling to Indonesia over COVID-19 concerns. Saudis who were in Indonesia at that time were urged to return home.
