Industry Minister stresses Bahraini woman achievements

Industry and Commerce Minister Zayed Rashid Alzayani congratulated HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and wife of HM the King and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) President HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa on the Council’s 21 anniversary.
 
Bahraini women have celebrated many achievements in all fields since the historic breakthrough, thanks to the support of HH Princess Sabeeka 's belief in the ability of Bahraini women.
 
The minister added that SCW celebrated many achievements to empower Bahraini women in all sectors that contributed to strengthening the industrial and commercial sectors and women holding leadership positions in the ministry.
 
The accomplishments indicate the Council’s commitments within government’s plan 2013- 2022 to enhance the role of Bahraini women. The ministry appreciates the efforts of SCW to present model strategies for the advancement of Bahraini women and empower them to be key partners in the national development, he added.
