Sultan Qaboos pardons 160 inmates
Sultan Qaboos Bin Said of Oman issued a royal pardon for 160 inmates including 67 foreigners convicted in various cases, according to an official from the Royal Omani Police (ROP).
The royal pardon, coincides with the 45th National Day celebrations and comes as a humanitarian gesture aimed towards the families of the inmates, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.
