KSA spends billions to make Hajj, Umrah easy

The Saudi Minister of Hajj Dr. Bandar bin Mohammed Hajjar said that the target numbers of performers of Umrah are in line with the orientations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to provide Muslims with the opportunity to perform Umrah in tranquility, calm and safety.

In remarks on the occasion of the start of Umrah season, which begins on the first day of the month of Safar and ends 15 Shawwal, he pointed out that the various sectors of the Ministry of Hajj and all concerned authorities have completed preparations to receive performers of Umrah, facilitate procedures and provide services to them easily with using the latest electronic hardware and software, according to Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

He stressed that the Saudi embassies abroad grant visas for Hajj and Umrah for free. He said that the Kingdom annually spends billions of riyals to make the Hajj and Umrah trip easy and affordable, SPA reported.
