Turkiye announces visa exemption for Bahrainis

In a recent presidential decision, Turkiye declared that Bahraini citizens will be exempt from tourist visas for a duration of 90 days, according to our sister paper, Al Ayam. Additionally, the US, Canada, and the UAE are also part of this decision. This move aims to strengthen tourism ties and promote cultural exchange between these nations and Turkiye.
According to Foreigners and International Protection Law No. 6458, specifically Article 18, Omani citizens holding regular passports will be granted a 90-day visa for tourism purposes in Turkiye. However, this visa is subject to the condition that the duration of their tourist trips to Turkiye does not exceed 90 days within a 180-day period.
The decision reflects Turkiye’s commitment to facilitating travel and promoting friendly relations. It is expected to boost tourism and foster closer ties through enhanced people-to-people interactions.
